Darrell Dollar, lead singer and older brother to Barry and Wade, plays mandolin and has wrote some songs for the band. Barry Dollar plays fiddle and banjo and sings lead and baritone, he is the second of the two brothers. Wade Dollar, the youngest of the two brothers, plays guitar, sings tenor and lead and also plays claw hammer banjo and dobro.
Tim Norris, banjo player, is a cousin to the Dollar Brothers. Tim also sings,plays guitar and the piano.
From Ashe County, Kevin Miller, who plays bass for the band also plays guitar and sings.
The Dollar Brothers have shared the stage with such luminaries as Bill Monroe,Jim and Jesse, The Seldom Scene,Doyle Lawson, The Osborne Brothers and others.
The Dollar Brothers love doing the standards as well as doing some of their own compositions on stage. Gospel Music is also a very large part of the Dollar Brothers. The Dollar Brothers have been in bluegrass for over twenty years, they really enjoy what they do, and what they share with others.
