The Dollar Brothers Band

Brandy Miller is the 11 year old daughter of our bass player. She has been playing banjo since she was 6 1/2 years old.                                 

She plays banjo,fiddle,guitar and mandolin. She proforms a couple of tunes on nearly every Dollar Brothers' set. She placed first at the Ashe County Fiddler's Convention in the banjo competition and in the fiddle competiton. She went to Galax and placed first in the banjo shootout. She takes lessons from national banjo champion Steve Lewis.She has played on stage with Wayne Henderson, JC Kemp, Steve Lewis and others. She really enjoys getting the chance to perform and loves to flatfoot. She enjoys her little sister Kendra and enjoys hunting and shooting.

The Dollar Brother's like to give young people a chance to perform and carry on the bluegrass tradition.
